With large lows passing near Alaska, the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational is on GREEN ALERT, with possible

wave height conditions of 25 feet plus on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024.

Elite surfers from across the globe will be flying in to Oahu in preparation for this weekend's colossal surf.

Contest Director Liam McNamara will assess the conditions at dawn on Sunday. At first light, he will make the determination whether to hold this prestigious surf event based on swell conditions, size, directions as well as winds. Stay tuned!
